My advising and coaching sessions are best suited to:
New managers looking to build their management skills
Busy Executive Directors, senior leaders, and team leads who need focused, confidential space to work through complex problems and move forward what matters most
Junior to mid-career folks looking for mentorship as they build their skills in organizational operations, project planning, budgeting, risk management, or contract / lease negotiation
Board members responsible for supporting and evaluating a senior staffperson
Anyone responsible for moving work through an organization who wants to hone their skills
Projects
I undertake organizational design and development projects with organizations who want to:
Improve their operations and internal infrastructure (e.g. finances; tech; facilities; human resources systems, policies, + processes; org structure; etc)
Strengthen and evolve their governance culture, process, and/or engagement
Address workload issues to prevent burnout and support long-term effectiveness
Plan for major organizational transitions (e.g. leadership succession, major expansion, funding model shift, etc)
Strengthen their operational planning, wrestling their big picture strategy into effective day-to-day implementation

Project collaborations typically start with a call to discuss the scope of the project, budget and rates, and whether there is a good fit for working together. For advising and coaching work, I offer a sliding scale fee structure and recommend planning for at least three sessions from the outset (after a shorter initial conversation free of charge). I am happy to suggest and connect you with other facilitators and consultants when another skill set is a better fit.

I donate 10% of my profits (after I’ve paid my business bills but before I pay myself) to support Indigenous-led organizations and Indigenous decolonization, cultural vitality, and well-being efforts.
